Our Process
Wellness Consultation
We believe great results start with understanding your goals. During your Wellness Consultation, we'll discuss your health history, current challenges, and what you want to achieve so we can create a personalized plan that's right for you. Whether your goal is to get out of pain, improve performance, or invest in your long-term health, this conversation helps us determine the best next steps.
2. Assessment and/or Evaluation
An Assessment helps us understand your overall movement, function, and performance. It identifies limitations, imbalances, and opportunities for improvement.
An Evaluation is a more comprehensive examination used when pain, injury, or more complex concerns are present. It allows us to determine the root cause of symptoms and develop a precise plan of care.
Together, these tools help us understand not just where you're struggling, but why, so we can create a personalized plan that delivers lasting results.
3. Follow Up Visits
Follow-up visits are where we continue your progress and adjust your care based on how your body is responding. Each session is tailored to your needs that day, focused on reducing pain, improving movement, building strength, and preventing future issues. These visits help ensure you stay on track and continue progressing toward long-term results.
4. Report & Plan
In this session, we review your results and walk you through what’s contributing to your symptoms or limitations. We then present your personalized care plan, explain our recommendations, and outline the steps needed to reach your goals, so you leave with clarity, confidence, and a clear path forward.
Our Approach
At The Movement Lab, we take a holistic, science-based approach to health and performance, combining the latest research with conservative treatment methods to help you achieve and keep your goals in Braselton, GA. Whether it's managing pain or enhancing performance, we're here to support you for a lifetime.
Guided by the principle "Movement is Medicine," we use movement as a powerful tool to improve health. With this approach, we reduce pain, build resilience, and optimize performance. We promote movement at every stage of life through functional rehabilitation, physical activity, exercise, and sports, ensuring you move well no matter what your purpose. For women navigating postpartum changes, this same whole-body approach can support the connection between the pelvic floor, core, hips, and back. Learn more in our blog on postpartum core and pelvic floor support.
If movement is medicine, we reject the cultural norm that aging means less movement. In fact, we believe it means more. A lack of movement shortens both health span and lifespan. Our mission is to foster a community that fully embraces and maximizes movement potential for everyone we serve.
