Who We Are
Meet the Team
Dr. Patrick Krier: Co-Founder, Chiropractor
Dr. Patrick grew up in Wisconsin, where he developed a passion for athletics, strength and conditioning, and human performance. He attended Winona State University in Winona, MN, where he studied Movement Science and served as a Strength and Conditioning Intern. In this role, he worked alongside the university's strength staff to help train the women's soccer and men's football teams, gaining valuable experience in athletic performance, injury prevention, and movement optimization.
He later transferred to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he completed Palmer's accelerated 3+1 program, earning his Bachelor of Science while simultaneously completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. This unique educational path allowed him to combine his passion for exercise science with advanced clinical training in chiropractic care and rehabilitation.
Immediately following graduation, Dr. Patrick and his wife, Dr. Kelsey, founded The Movement Lab with a shared vision of redefining healthcare through an integrated approach to chiropractic, movement, fitness, recovery, and wellness. Their goal was to create a place where people don't just recover from pain, they build the strength, resilience, and confidence to live healthier, more active lives.
Dr. Patrick is passionate about helping individuals optimize the way they move, perform, and live. His clinical approach combines chiropractic care, rehabilitation, movement analysis, and strength and conditioning principles to help patients overcome pain, improve performance, and build lasting resilience. Whether he's working with athletes striving to perform at their highest level or individuals simply wanting to move better in everyday life, his focus is always on addressing the root cause and creating long-term solutions.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Patrick has a lifelong passion for strength training and challenging himself physically. Whether he's chasing a new personal record in the gym, training for an endurance event, or taking on a new fitness challenge, he believes that continually testing his own physical and mental limits makes him a better clinician and leader. His passion for fitness extends beyond his own training—he loves helping others discover what they're truly capable of through movement, discipline, and consistent effort.
