Better Movement Starts With Better Understanding
Universally, all of our clients initially assume pain and stiffness are just part of getting older or staying active. Others have tried rest, stretching, or quick fixes that never quite stick.
At The Movement Lab, we believe that movement is medicine. This means we don’t stop our clients from moving and doing what they love. We just give them a personalized approach that helps them progress to achieve their goals. An approach that looks at what we can do, instead of what we cannot. A lens that looks at the whole body, not just where it hurts.
Our role is to help you understand what your body needs now, so you can do what you need with confidence and capability.
Our Approach: Movement, Done Differently
We take our time, have a clear plan and focus of care, and prove that what we do works in and for your life.
We don’t rush people in and out. We don’t guess. And we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care.
Phase 1: Learn
Understand what’s really going on.
Everything starts with a thorough evaluation. We take time to understand:
What’s limiting you
How your body is compensating
What you need and want to be able to do, now and long-term
This isn’t about rushing to a solution. It’s about having a deliberate focus based on where you desire to be and the objectives that are limiting your body, movement, and life.
Phase 2: Evolve
Put the right plan into action.
Once we understand your body and your goals, we build a personalized plan designed to educate and guide you to be in control. This may include:
Chiropractic care
Mobility and stretching
Fitness training
Recovery support like sauna and cold plunge
You’re not handed a plan and left alone. We advocate alongside you, adjusting as you respond and progress.
Phase 3: Achieve
Be confident. Live capable.
This is where the work pays off.
Pain cease
Movement improves
Activities you avoided are possible again
We celebrate progress, not perfection. We reflect on what was learned and solidify an action plan to nurture what was earned.
Phase 4: Develop
Support long-term success.
Our goal isn’t to keep you dependent on the clinic.
It’s to help you nurture and build on what you’ve achieved.
This phase focuses on:
Ongoing education and advocacy
Adjusting your plan to life changes
Supporting long-term health, wellness, and performance
So you’re not starting over again next year.
In all, our goal is for you to lead a life that is confident and capable, making you truly well.
Thoughtful Care Starts With the Right Guides
We founded The Movement Lab with a simple belief:
Empower the community to lead a life that is confident and capable so they can live fully.
We believe that movement is the foundation to truly well and vibrant lives.
We aren’t here to rush appointments or chase symptoms. We're here to bring clarity to your concerns, help you move with confidence, and make you capable of living a lifestyle that lasts.
With backgrounds in chiropractic care, movement-based rehabilitation, and performance-focused training, we take a whole-body approach that looks beyond quick fixes.
But more than credentials, what sets us apart is how we work with people.
We listen.
We educate.
We advocate.
So you’re never guessing what comes next and you’re never walking the path alone.
We don’t believe in “fixing” others. We believe in equipping our community in proactive and preventative living.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The Movement Lab provides quality one-on-one sessions, with Doctors who understand your specific biomechanical, anatomical, and energetic needs behind your goals. Unlike many chiropractors or physical therapists who rely on assistive personnel, you’ll get undivided attention and expertise for the whole duration of your visit.
The truth is, most therapists do about 10% of what we do at The Movement Lab. In addition to what a ‘typical’ chiropractor may do, we offer other services such as soft tissue treatment, functional rehabilitation exercises, functional/performance assessments, and performance training.
Most importantly, any treatment plan is tailored to your specific needs. We create a plan for your specific goals and pivot if we aren’t getting the results we expect. This is all apart of how we get you the outcomes you came to get and giving you the confidence to continue to broaden your horizons when you accomplish them!

We recommend loose-fitting, athletic clothing that allows you to move easily. Depending on the treatment, your Doctor may need to perform skin-to-skin contact around the injured area or areas that seem unrelated due to addressing the source of the symptoms.
-
No, adjustments are just one tool we use. Even though a good amount of patients do get adjustments, we have many other ways to get outcomes than adjustments. At the end of the day it comes down to what you need and what you are comfortable with.
-
Every client’s recovery is different, but most people work with us for about 8 sessions, progressing through our three-step framework: Renew (Feel Better), Rebuild (Move Better), and Refine (Perform Better). You’ll see improvements immediately, but completing the full plan ensures long-term, lasting results.
-
Not if we have anything to say about it! In all seriousness, in most cases, no. We aim to keep you active and may adjust your routine to prevent further pain or injury while still allowing you to stay active, train, or compete.
