  • The Movement Lab provides quality one-on-one sessions, with Doctors who understand your specific biomechanical, anatomical, and energetic needs behind your goals. Unlike many chiropractors or physical therapists who rely on assistive personnel, you’ll get undivided attention and expertise for the whole duration of your visit.

The truth is, most therapists do about 10% of what we do at The Movement Lab. In addition to what a ‘typical’ chiropractor may do, we offer other services such as soft tissue treatment, functional rehabilitation exercises, functional/performance assessments, and performance training.

Most importantly, any treatment plan is tailored to your specific needs. We create a plan for your specific goals and pivot if we aren’t getting the results we expect. This is all apart of how we get you the outcomes you came to get and giving you the confidence to continue to broaden your horizons when you accomplish them!

  • During your first visit, one of our Doctors' will conduct a comprehensive evaluation to diagnose the root cause of your symptoms. A functional movement assessment is included to better understand how your movement patterns may be contributing to your pain or injury. This evaluation is crucial, as it provides insight into your specific challenges, limitations, and goals. Based on these findings, the Doctor will provide hands-on treatment as well as functional rehabilitative exercises, education about your condition, and prescribe at home physical treatments. The goal is to reduce pain, restore movement, and build resilience for long-term results. All of this is part of your customized treatment plan that serves as your recovery in the short term and pathway to performance in the long-term.

  • You will always work directly with a Doctor of Chiropractic but the question is which one? Would you prefer Dr. Kelsey, who specalizes in pediatric, women’s, pregnancy menopausal services or would you prefer Dr. Patrick how specalizes in sports, activities, injuries, and performanced based care? Well the good news, is you get to decide! Go ahead and find our availability online and schedule an appointment under either one of our Doctors of Chiropractic! Both Doctors emphasize a deep understanding of your specific movements and demands of your goals, activity, or sport, which helps in creating the most effective treatment plan possible.

  • We offer a comprehensive approach which focuses specific care for your outcomes through functional rehabilitation and performance care. We welcome clients who want a more individualized approach or are looking for a second opinion. If there’s an opportunity, we’re also happy to co-manage your treatment and coordinate care for you.

  • No, adjustments are just one tool we use. Even though a good amount of patients do get adjustments, we have many other ways to get outcomes than adjustments. At the end of the day it comes down to what you need and what you are comfortable with.

  • We recommend loose-fitting, athletic clothing that allows you to move easily. Depending on the treatment, your Doctor may need to perform skin-to-skin contact around the injured area or areas that seem unrelated due to addressing the source of the symptoms.

  • Yes, our treatment plans include prescription functional rehabilitation movements. Most patients experience faster results when incorporating these exercises. Your Doctor will tailor them to your goals and progress. While we’re happy to provide more in-office care if needed, being active in your recovery can significantly reduce the number of visits required and keep you better longer. Our goal is to empower you to be a part of the process, understanding your pain and injury and helping you feel, look, and perform your very best.

  • Every client’s recovery is different, but most people work with us for about 8 sessions, progressing through our three-step framework: Renew (Feel Better), Rebuild (Move Better), and Refine (Perform Better). You’ll see improvements immediately, but completing the full plan ensures long-term, lasting results.

  • Not if we have anything to say about it! In all seriousness, in most cases, no. We aim to keep you active and may adjust your routine to prevent further pain or injury while still allowing you to stay active, train, or compete.
